Watercolorist and Artist
I'm an eclectic creator working in multiple genres. I love complexity of design and study aboriginal and celtic design often combining them in my art. My second love is rural life as a tribute to my memories of my grandparents.
About Carol Herrington
Seventeen years ago, I became intrigued by the luminous quality of watercolors, and a glorious exciting journey began. Dabbling in a variety of subject matters, nothing gave me a passion as painting my childhood reflections of my grandparent’s farm, antiquities and rural sittings. Watercolors give a subject the glow of life. My world of watercolor creativity has been infinitely enhanced in 2014 through the inspirations provided by a membership in the Lakes Region Watercolor Guild (LRWG). I always stay opened to the opportunity to learn a new technique, a new stroke, a new approach, etc., which keeps painting fresh and challenging. I rarely paint the same subject twice to always challenge my abilities. Most of my paintings are painstakingly detailed taking months to research and produce. A little piece of me is in every piece of my creativity.
